@MitchRandomCurrently working on Firefly City Stories projects!
Hi! I'm Mitch, an animator, artist, musician, and voice actor from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I am also a graphic designer.
Since 2020 I have been working on my project universe, Firefly City Stories, a collection of comics and animations following the lives of various characters throughout the fictional world of Firefly City and the Commonwealth of Aurora. These stories are deeply personal to me, but are also attempts at creating something that can help others find meaning and perspective on life. I do all writing, artwork, animation, and music production myself, as well as much of the voice acting.
Stories within this universe include:
- Bluefire Books - A Firefly City Story (a comic series)
- Where's Willow? - A Firefly City Story (an animated series)
- I have more planned for the future as well!
Some of my older projects include:
- Toons by Mitch (fan art animations for various video games - I've stopped posting here while closing in on publishing Firefly City Stories, which will go on a different, new channel)
- WebCanids! Comics (comics about foxes, wolves, and dogs - I still make these but they're pretty simple)
Thanks for stopping by!
- Mitch R.
This program developed my skills in the creation of digital art, design, and marketing principles. It improved my ability to manage projects, work with teams and clients, and manage complex task lists. I also took classes in audio engineering and video editing.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude with Dean's List honors and experience as a student teacher.
Dependent on project scope and scale.
I primarily focus on projects involving animation or games, but I'm open to other things. NAVA rider required.

I am NOT willing to participate in, contribute to, or support any project using or promoting "gen AI" at all whatsoever for voices, art, writing, or anything else- even "tiny" things. This is absolutely non-negotiable and will never change. Do not contact me with requests for things like this. I will not respond.
As an artist, animator, AND voice actor, I am very aware of how much this technology hurts people in all three industries, as well as the environment. Using it for one thing but being against it for another shows a disregard for other creatives, and that is not something I find acceptable, professional, or ethical.
