Mason Valentine

Hello! My name is Mason Valentine, a Baltimore-based composer.

I specialize in hybrid electronic orchestral fusion and jazzy piano compositions, focusing on high energy and unique sounds. I believe music is a universal language that should be shared across all mediums, and I’m passionate about creating memorable scores that elevate storytelling.

I’m particularly drawn to video game scoring, as games provide a powerful way to tell stories that resonate with players for a lifetime. One of my dreams is to compose an epic main menu theme!

With 13 years of piano experience and 4 years of composing, I’m inspired by composers like Glass, Gershwin, Rachmaninoff, Thomas Bergersen (Two Steps From Hell), and Billy Joel. Currently, I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Music for New Media (Film and Game Scoring) at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins.
