Hello! My name is Freddie Rodriguez, I'm 29, and I'm looking to dip my toe into voice-over work. I used to sing in my old metal band and I still write my own songs. Singing has given me a certain know-how on how to control my voice. Working on my own music taught me how to navigate DAW's and edit audio. So applying what I know to editing voice has been a breeze. I'm also bilingual in Spanish and being able to tap into the inflections of those accents helps for me to come up with some unique voices.
Being a voice actor has always been a pleasure to think about, but now I've found the avenue to actually pursue it. I hope that with each audition I get better, hone in on my strengths, and actually land the gig.
My VA journey starts with a Spanish fandub of an ambitious Starfox fancartoon. Let's see where we go from here.
I'm looking to get involved in indie projects that align with my interests. Be it for videogames, student animatics, passion projects, fandubs, etc. I aim to be a team-player and do my best in any project I get to be a part of. I joined Casting Call Club so that I can gain experience with voice-over work.
