Alyse Thompson

During my 28 years' experience as a front singer for many event bands, performing with talented musicians around the country and over seas, a crazy thing called a Global Pandemic, halted my travel for a while, so I decided to enroll in the Such a Voice program and learn the ins and outs of Voice Over. 

The rest is history! I now have my own LLC, and professional experience in corporate narration, elearning, audiobooks, and commercials, utilizing my bilingual skills in English and Spanish!

My professionally designed home studio houses the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio package, and I utilize Audacity as my recording software..

I have theater experience and acting training, and I studied Music Theater, Opera, and Jazz at Florida State University.

I have worked in education and the corporate world, and have gained much experience in those realms - not only lending a level of authenticity and know-how to my reads, but also adding a deeper level of understanding of the different human characters we encounter in our daily lives.

My happy clients include WM Jordan Construction Company, Roundtable Learning, Cactus Global Communications, the Central Virginia Food Bank, and the Virginia Beach Department of Health and Human Services.

I’m a lover of music, animals, nature, power walking, great food, dancing and singing.
