I've been a professional voice actor since 2006, doing everything from commercials to audiobooks to video games. I was even the voice of the "Poop-o-lantern" for Hallmark! I'm originally from Mobile, AL and currently live in Pompton Lakes, NJ, right next to NYC.
Whether I'm doing a commercial, a cartoon, or a corporate narration, my focus is creating believable characters. Like Jess Harnell says, voice acting is little v, big A. It's not about the voice. It's about the acting.

        Hello there, my name is Lindz. I am an aspiring voice actor with about seven years of practice so far! I use an AT875r Shotgun mic with a Focusrite Scarlet Solo 3rd generation interface, acoustic foam, and Audacity to record. I also have a pop filter, and a clamp arm to raise the mic off my desk.           In terms of character types, my specialty is definitely the insane or psychotic characters with lots of laughing and screaming, monster and creature characters, as well as the shy and awkward characters with softer or nerdier type personslities. I'm Apple, a genderfluid person who prefers no pronouns, though they/them is also fine.
While I'm not willing to do much singing here, I feel it's worth mentioning I was a part of a choir for 5 years. And have been taking singing lessons for 4. I'm also the kind of person to spontainiously take on funky voices and have been praised for my improv ability. So, while I don't have much experience actually voice acting in a more professional setting, my voice has still seen some use.
As I am Norwegian, my voice might occasionally have a hint of a Norwegian accent to it (though I couldn't do a heavy Norwegian accent to save my life). I usually try to make my voice sound as naturally English as I can, but if a line seems off accent-wise then please ask me to redo it and I'll see if I can fix it.
I do have some anxiety regarding messaging, though if messages I receive are work-relate...
