Hi there!My name is B.J. van Slooten (aka Benji) and I've always found VA'ing fascinating, but I never really got to recording. Until a while back, when I decided to buy the equipment I needed and get going. I really look forward to lending my voice acting (and talent, if you will) to projects. Why? Just for fun and finally putting my voice to good use! You see, I've been doing voices and I've been singing semi-professionally for almost all of my life, so to finally be able to record myself is a blast.My range is fairly broad and I'm known for adapting to feedback very quickly.  Whenever I get creative, I like to approach things conceptually, with a certain idea in mind. Vocal Qualities and Attributes:I am an AFAB person with a high pitched low-timbre voice. My general speaking voice tends to sound more on the mature side, but I can also achieve a higher pitch that suits children and more immature characters. Regarding vocal quality, I have a solid range between defined confident radio broadcaster-type roles and nervous whimpering characters. Screaming for hours is not an issue.
For my singing voice, I am a mezzo-soprano with a comfortable range of D3-D5 I haven't measured my belting range yet, but I know that I can go above D5 with it

I have only been doing theater and acting for a few years now but it has always been a huge passion of mine. I unfortunately have no voice acting and no professional experience so that is why I am here!! Nonetheless! Some productions I were apart of; "Frankenstein" - The Creature  "Chicago" - Mama Morton - I had also won awards for improv! He has worked as an actor, director, voiceover artist, speech coach, and technician in theatre, television, and film for almost three decades. He has worked in 28 states and 2 Canadian provinces, and some day hopes to collect the whole set. He holds a BA in Production Studies from Clemson University and an MFA in Acting from The University of Alabama.
