This tape was discovered in 1995, several miles from the wreckage of Thai Airways Flight 407, a transatlantic voyage from New York to Bangkok that met an untimely fate over the vast expanse of the ocean. What sets these recordings apart is their origin—they were found nestled amidst the foliage of a remote, densely forested island known as Isla Alumar. Not much has been discovered about this remote stretch of land in the South Pacific, but it is believed to be uninhabited. The following recordings, however, make one wonder.
