I became aware the power a voice can have on someone when I worked at summer camp. It was a very hot day and the kids wanted hear a spooky story, so I started to read them a chapter from one of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps. The kids were engrossed with the story that when someone opened the door to the cabin they all screamed.
