Studio Penrose is an independent VR film studio striving to make new and unique lore-driven stories. Our group is comprised of many members of all backgrounds who work together to create films for all audiences to enjoy. We love sharing our stories at festivals and received the 'Best Short Film of VR' award at the 2023 Raindance Film Festival.

Since 2020 I have been working on my project universe, Firefly City Stories, a collection of comics and animations following the lives of various characters throughout the fictional world of Firefly City and the Commonwealth of Aurora. These stories are deeply personal to me, but are also attempts at creating something that can help others find meaning and perspective on life. Life's been a wild ride, from the bright lights of LA to the peaceful Ozarks – a journey that's shaped me in unexpected ways. My Scottish ancestry might explain my naturally low voice, a rich baritone that averages around 91Hz. (Perhaps that's where the appreciation for storytelling comes in!) Military service, healthcare experience, and battling cancer all instilled a deep gratitude for life's possibilities.
