I make voice dubs of Sesame Street segments in my spare time, mainly the Number of the Day segments from 2002, which focuses on the Count von Count playing a singing pipe organ to find the number of the day. For as long back as I can remember, I've been told that I should work as an announcer/radio/advertising because of my voice. I responded that it was a nice thought, but I had no idea where to get started. (Also, side note, but is that a low-grade insult on your looks? "Wow, your voice is great! It almost distracts from your face.") I chased a few leads (called into radio stations, googled some mythical phone number that exists on cards all around Hollywood for V.A. work, etc.) but nothing ever came to pass. But I've found this place and I'm putting myself out there.
