Granny Judith is Hannibal and Naomi's grandmother. After Hannibal and Naomi's parents died when they were young, she became their caregivers. Hannibal often always helps his granny out as he has a close relationship with her. She also appears to know Nikki as they were childhood friends when they were little.
Granny Judith is in various episodes in the first season.
Morning, Hanny. How’s my big strong man doing today?
I think it’s sweet you’re hanging out with Nikki. How come you two never got together? You two used to be very close when you were little.
No. His sister Naomi and I are all he has left that he would go to. His parents died in a lab accident when he was only a young boy. Then, his mother’s parents died four years ago, and his great Uncle Barry, he’s somewhere on the other side of the world. He would never go there by himself.
