VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 4: Squad Stories (NEW EPISODE: "A Chivalrous Heart") - 1F
Victoria Stam for Eileen Blackwell
Female, mid/late teens. A social butterfly, Eileen's bright smile is a very welcome sight during the doldrums of war. Enlisting out of concern for her brother after he was seriously injured on a recon mission, Eileen's sense of responsibility is very admirable – even if Curtis does find it overbearing at times. Though once a painfully shy child like her “big bro”, Eileen has strengthened her resolve considerably in the face of danger; though not officially in a front-line combat role, she is an excellent marksman and a fearsome warrior for someone who looks so cute. Sensitive to the needs of others and always willing to help.
Voice type: medium/high. A proponent of the “tough love” approach to getting the most out of her squadmates – used often on Laurent and especially Curtis. Eileen can be demanding but she is never “bitchy” or an insufferable nag; all she wants is for everyone to be prepared so they can come home alive.
(with a slight edge; she is obviously concerned about her brother) Come on, show a little confidence. Those Imperials will jump on you the first chance they get.
(soft, almost ashamed) I was acting all tough, saying I'd protect you... but you ended up having to protect me again.
(embarrassed) Huh? W-wait— that doesn't count! I didn't mean to say it, I—! I-I just came by to say thanks! That's all, okay Curtis?
