Stirling is a vampire who has lost his passion for most things in life, except for the art of figure skating, which makes him feel alive. Brooding and melancholy, aloof and genteel, he is a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a skin tight figure skating costume.  His character embodies all of the "dark harlequin" qualities of vampires, unironically. So every sexy-vampire trope in the universe has a place in his character. He is dramatic, predatory, and sort of sparkly all at the same time. He should make the main character feel a little uneasy, which is meant to magnify his overall sex appeal.
