"To fight the Abyss... one must know it."

A half-possessed scholar of forbidden knowledge, the Occultist has long accepted his own bloody fate since the moment he forged his contract with those unspeakable powers. He was invited to the hamlet due to his expertise in demonology, though he showed interested in the Darkest Dungeon itself.

The Occultist conducts himself in a very logical and sound manner in spite of the horrific implications of his current powers. Though he's the most level-headed of the group, he only done this through a nearly nihilistic mindset of self-doom.

Voice: Medium Low; Rational - Composed - Mindful <Any ALL CAPS lines in dialogue is the demon speaking, keep that in mind>

  • Becoming Focused - Calmed Mentality

Pitch is once again the downfall of another otherwise good audition, as it is too high for this character; even with the more throaty voice you have going on here. Delivery is strange because the speed is a little fast at the start but evens out, and the emotional peaks are reached but need a bit more power behind them to really make them stand out. Tone sounds a little too confident for the character, as it almost sounds like he's underestimating or looking down on the dangers beyond. This is another issue that can be fixed, but the issue with your pitch may be something you'll just have to earn through time. Also, if you're going to do the demonic speech, try to be a little more clear with your ramble as it does come in a little fast.

Hey thanks for the feed back! I actually think my leper and my houndmaster voices were the strongest but I'd be more than willing to work with you to get exactly what you want for the character
