The Breath Before
Brooke Schmugar for Narrator
A lower register of voice and warm tones. Adds a homey feel to the experience. The general idea of the atmosphere we're looking for is one of comfort and reassurance.
With a click, the lounge filled with with smooth jazz. Jane sank into her seat.
Silhouettes would meander by the frosted windows. They couldn't help but catch John's eye.
I think you have a pretty good voice, but I've noticed some clicks in this and some of your other auditions. Hydration is probably the most important thing to keep in mind, but I'm also going to recommend this audacity plugin: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=245549. This de-clicker takes time to use, but I've found it's very effective at cutting out mouth noise. It works best on longer pieces of audio. I've also noticed that it works faster after noise reduction or equalization (though I think it's better before any compression). Anyways, good luck in your auditions!
thank you! I didn't even think about hydration so a way to fix this noise. and thank you for the link I will make sure to get that plug in!
