Mash is a very reserved character at the beginning. Mostly used to the way people are at Chaldea. Later on she becomes more protective over the main protagonist Ritsuka Fujimaru

During the events of the movie Mash becomes empowered and transformed into a Demi-Servant from another heroic spirit, It is then where she has the power and ability to do a lot more than she could originally and her attitude changes.
