"He'll be laughing still... At the end."

Life and death are an eternal performance to the Jester, a man that's taken the mantle of reaper and bard upon his garb. Having been driven almost insane by a now dead tyrant, the Jester arrives to the hamlet as a means of finding solace for his wounded mind.

The Jester is as close to unhinged as they come, detailing every one of his actions through snide remarks and a joking demeanor. Even when suffering from delirium or at death's door, he won't drop his act, either out of manic habit or as a defense mechanism.

Voice: Medium - Medium High; Light Hearted - Grimly Humorous - Sarcastic

  • Becoming Stalwart - Focused Lucidity

Madness or willpower. Either works.I care not. And so I am immortal.

Pitch is nice, giving us a throaty yet still young sounding voice that works fine with the show-man tone you've chosen. Delivery is a little strange, as you retain an even pace for the most part but there's some awkward pauses between some of your line delivery. If this is to sound more unhinged by random stops, then I won't be too hard on it but it nonetheless awkward. There's an air of an entertainer here with your tone, giving us a semi-serious and disturbed style of crazy. The laughs on the first takes are the best by the way, they sound more well drawn out and crazier; though I think the entertainer tone works better in the second auditions.

Thank you! The stops were my attempt at making The Jester sound just that bit more touched by madness, but I do see how it comes off as just generally awkward.
