"This man understands that adversity and existence... are one and the same."

A man deprived of life and longing for absolution, the Leper is a man afflicted by disease yet retains his unwavering resolve. He was once the king of a far away land, and has come to the hamlet as a means of finding purpose in purging the darkness and inevitable death.

The Leper carries himself in a calm, mature demeanor as he has prepared his body and mind for the final stroke of death. As a result, he details his words with short poetic prose to both accent their purpose and to ease the burden on his diseased throat.

Good job, you actually made me believe you actually have a diseased throat by expertly matching this character's voice in every conceivable way. Pitch is excellent, carrying the amount of raspy, throaty, and wizened tone that I expect for this character. This is further supported by your delivery as it emotes so much with what should be a monotone voice and gives me a poetic rhythm that is finely gothic. Tone is everything that I expect for this character, reserving the calm nature throughout while dropping subtle portions of acceptance, restraint and even rage throughout your audition. I have never heard a man sound as composed, as tortured and as resigned to death as you have in this audition. This may be a flawless audition and I cannot provide a realistic criticism for it without sounding petty, so take my praise as not a sign of laziness on my part but as sign of your accomplishment here.
