"He'll be laughing still... At the end."

Life and death are an eternal performance to the Jester, a man that's taken the mantle of reaper and bard upon his garb. Having been driven almost insane by a now dead tyrant, the Jester arrives to the hamlet as a means of finding solace for his wounded mind.

The Jester is as close to unhinged as they come, detailing every one of his actions through snide remarks and a joking demeanor. Even when suffering from delirium or at death's door, he won't drop his act, either out of manic habit or as a defense mechanism.

That laugh doesn't work, it needs to be more manic to really draw out the character's instability. Anyways, your pitch works well for this one, that squeaky and dark voice you have really make it stand out. Delivery is consistent, you emote well throughout the lines except for your laugh. Tone is also pretty good, as you do represent the character's unhinged nature throughout your audition. I especially like how you describe the act of slitting their throats in an almost comical manner. It really is just the laugh that's bothering me for this one, as it would be near perfect otherwise.

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely agree with the laugh part. I honestly probably won't be the best casting choice for you. I can't do the manic laugh without peaking my mic. I had to tone it down or back up from my mic to keep it outside of the peaking range.
