The Nexus Chronicles
JazzyJay for Alliance Command
Very professional, but still human. She'll do her best to remain as emotionally separated as possible while on the job. That being said, she's still only human and certain details on this particular assignment can and will disturb her; creating cracks in her otherwise perfect mask. This character plays a minor role in the beginning, but will slowly take part in a larger role in later installments as the story goes on.

ALLIANCE COMMAND: This is Command calling Recovery 1. Come in Recovery 1.
Captain Richards: This is Recovery 1. Go ahead Command.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: We are having interference with your helmet cams.
Captain Richards: Acknowledged. Permission to proceed?
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Permission granted.
Private Parker: Now accessing the maglocks. And...done.
Captain Richards: Now entering the Hermes.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Acknowledged. Life support systems appear to be nonfunctional. Proceed with caution.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Acknowledged. Life support systems appear to be nonfunctional. Proceed with caution.
Captain Richards: Roger that. We have now entered the Hermes. It's dark. Switching to night vision. Oh, God.
Private Griffin: Jesus Christ!
Private Cutter: What the fuck?!
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Recovery 1, what is your status? Recovery 1, respond!
Captain Richards: We're fine, Command. But it I'm looking at a lot of bodies here. Almost looks like a wild animal tore through the crew.
Private Griffin: Raiders never come out this far.
Private Parker: Let alone attack Alliance ships.
Private Cutter: Then what the fuck did this?!
Captain Richards: Cut the chatter people! Command, how do we proceed?
[THREE SECONDS OF SILENCE]
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Continue to search and secure the ship. Find and escort any survivors off the ship. Collect any and all evidence that can shed some light on what happened. Deal with any hostiles with extreme prejudice.
Captain Richards: Roger that. You heard the lady. Lock and load marines!
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Recovery 1. We still have no visual on your helmet cams. Be sure to keep us post-Recovery 1, we are detecting a heat signature on the bridge. Please acknowledge.
Captain Richards: Acknowledged. Proceeding to the bridge.
[NON ESSENTIAL AUDIO REDACTED]
Captain Richards: Still no signs of life, Command. Just more bodies.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Can you establish a cause of death?
Captain Richards: I'm no doctor.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: Try.
Captain Richards: Alright. I'm seeing lacerations, blood, broken bone, whoever did this, they weren't raiders.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: What makes you say that?
Captain Richards: It just isn't raider MO. Attacking an Alliance ship, no hostages, and the way these people were killed. Raiders typically just shoot them and bug out before anyone can assist the ship. But this...This wasn't caution. It was...rage.
ALLIANCE COMMAND: I- thank you for your assessment, Recovery 1. Proceed towards the objective.
