2nd Corporal June Riddigan is also another original character. She was born in New Alexandria twenty-five years before the Fall of Reach. She is a battle-hardened Marine in the UNSC and has earned her way up the ranks. She is witty, and takes nonsense from nobody. Through her rough and commanding exterior, she has a very soft spot for children, and those she loves. She can get emotionally invested quite easily, given the correct circumstances. June was part of the evacuation efforts during the invasion of New Alexandria, and helped many civilians escape reach on various shuttles. 

SIDENOTE: I'd like for her to have a Southern accent to compliment her rough but kind personality, but any accent can work.
