Monologue: Be careful not to focus entirely on the acting side and forget the techniques that you've been practicing for the first half of this course. The first breath you take and the posture you are starting the read with will greatly influence how you start off. If you are the type who are slow to get engaged into your read, this could be the reason. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to always be having fun with your reads.
Please provide a feedback to someone who has not yet received one yet.
Have Fun!
Try not to pause between each word. Soften your "J," and "F" sounds a bit. This should help you transition to these words quicker. When you try to make a point, you tend to say each word individually. Choose one word among the bunch, and use the others to build toward it. Lastly, take bigger breaths and try not to breath out during pauses. Your read has a whispering quality to it, and the majority of the air you take in are exhaled during pauses. Hence, you are forced to keep inhaling even though you've only spoken a few words.
