Class B Week 8 Homework Submission
ZeroHarmony for Charlie's Charming Chocolate Factory
Monologue: Be careful not to focus entirely on the acting side and forget the techniques that you've been practicing for the first half of this course. The first breath you take and the posture you are starting the read with will greatly influence how you start off. If you are the type who are slow to get engaged into your read, this could be the reason. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to always be having fun with your reads.
Please provide a feedback to someone who has not yet received one yet.
Have Fun!
There were few parts where I could tell you had used gestures to bring out the words. I also love how your voice was so natural and comfortable. This is a very good place for your voice. Try to keep your hands moving throughout your read to practice your engagement. The moment your hands stops moving or they get into a pattern, that will become an immediate sign that your read might be becoming mono-toned as well. Eventually, you will stop needing as much gestures to help you with your acting but for the purposes of practice, I recommend you to use as much as you can, even if it means making your delivery comes out a little over-acted and uncomfortable.
