Class B Week 8 Homework Submission

Monologue: Be careful not to focus entirely on the acting side and forget the techniques that you've been practicing for the first half of this course. The first breath you take and the posture you are starting the read with will greatly influence how you start off. If you are the type who are slow to get engaged into your read, this could be the reason. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to always be having fun with your reads.
Please provide a feedback to someone who has not yet received one yet.
Have Fun!
Your voice was clear! I didn't hear any heavy breathing. I like that you tried to put a little bit of acting into your monologue without losing the vocal techniques.
You started slow but gradually worked up your engagement as you went. Try to start with the same amount of engagement as you reached by the end of the script. Notice how when you are just chatting at the end, you have way more variance in your speech in pacing, pitch, pauses, and breaths. The difference is what creates an almost mechanical feel to your delivery when you are reading the script. Try to relax more and just let "yourself," come through more and remember to always keep a smile.
