Class B Week 8 Homework Submission
SpookyBeef for Charlie's Charming Chocolate Factory
Monologue: Be careful not to focus entirely on the acting side and forget the techniques that you've been practicing for the first half of this course. The first breath you take and the posture you are starting the read with will greatly influence how you start off. If you are the type who are slow to get engaged into your read, this could be the reason. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to always be having fun with your reads.
Please provide a feedback to someone who has not yet received one yet.
Have Fun!
Your voice was clear and I like that you have a voice that captured my attention. Your voice was heard to hear in response to "Which room would you like to explore next?" I couldn't understand what you were saying. But the rest of your monologue was clear so keep up the good work!
There is quite a bit of slurring in your voice. Make sure you warm up and read the entire script with a cork in your mouth first. Then record your monologues. Be more confident with your acting choices even if you think its silly. I can tell that you were holding yourself back when you tried to do the little boy at the end. Projection and enunciation is unhindered when you use falsetto. Remember that even if you are acting as a withdrawn and shy child, our voice should never actually whisper.
