Week 4 Class B Homework Submission
tsukari741 for Freaky Freddie
Monologue Freaky Friday: Great job last week on projection. Most of you are getting a great grasp on this.Nice to hear the natural emotions coming out of you as you still focus on articulating and watching those unwanted sounds that can come out in each of these consonants’. Please remember to continue to project, imagining that you are on a stage without a mic and that you need to ensure even the people in the back rows can hear you.
This week, I would like everyone to continue to focus on their posture and breathing when reading. Ensure you are taking big diaphragmatic breaths every time.
Peer Review: Please provide at least 1 feedback to someone who has not received a feedback yet on the homework link. Reviewing feedback of others and providing feedback as well is a great way to learn. Pay attention to the critiques that I am offering as well as there can be lots to learn in there.
Have Fun!
Remember to voice your T's such as "settle." We want to avoid glottal stops making it sound like, "Se'le." You occasionally slur your words together. When you spoke about Fauscher, you slowed down your pace and you stopped slurring, while your enunciation also got better overall. Practice reading at a slower pace, then gradually get faster while making sure you don't sacrifice your enunciation. You should be able to find a comfortable pace that suits your current abilities this way.
