Week 4 Class B Homework Submission
Thomas Jung for Freaky Freddie
Monologue Freaky Friday: Great job last week on projection. Most of you are getting a great grasp on this.Nice to hear the natural emotions coming out of you as you still focus on articulating and watching those unwanted sounds that can come out in each of these consonants’. Please remember to continue to project, imagining that you are on a stage without a mic and that you need to ensure even the people in the back rows can hear you.
This week, I would like everyone to continue to focus on their posture and breathing when reading. Ensure you are taking big diaphragmatic breaths every time.
Peer Review: Please provide at least 1 feedback to someone who has not received a feedback yet on the homework link. Reviewing feedback of others and providing feedback as well is a great way to learn. Pay attention to the critiques that I am offering as well as there can be lots to learn in there.
Have Fun!
You have a bit of the lazy-tongue we spoke about in class today. When you increase your volume and emotional intensity, it does go away so maintain your projection all the way through. FVSZ seems like the core of where you get most of such issues so work a bit more with this, and the tongue exercise we spoke about today to help you with your clarity.
