Monologue B-G-K: Many of you did not project as much in your week 2 monologue compared to your week 1. Please remember to continue to project, imagining that you are on a stage without a mic and that you need to ensure even the people in the back rows can hear you. This week, I would like everyone to really focus on their posture and breathing when reading. Ensure you have take a big diaphragmatic breath every time. Using breath marks should really help you when it comes to preparing your body to take that breath as well.

I loved your energy, it added so much to the words. It was startling how clear your words were, and I mean that in a really good way because there were hardly any mistakes in the enunciation and your pacing was pretty good. My only criticism is you paused at a few points, so it came off as a little stilted. Your projection was fantastic and you almost sounded like a voice over for a commercial. Great job!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! Thank you so much for your feedback! I need to really work on my breath control- I think that might be why I paused a few times to get a breath. I did this take so many times that I was so happy when I got it finally!

No problem! That's what I'm here for lol. For breath control, I would recommend practicing some stuff that singers do when they're inhaling for a song. It's what I do, and it helps a great deal. And I get what you mean, I think I did this five or ten times before I was remotely satisfied with the result.
