Edens Zero Comic Dub
caswin1 for Rebecca
Rebecca is a kind and energetic girl from the planet Blue Garden who travels to different planets to record videos for Aoneko Channel, a video-sharing website, with the goal of obtaining one million subscribers. She pilots a spaceship called the Aqua Wing which also functions as a seaboat. She is initially wary of Shiki, but soon warms to him and, after seeing him being mistreated by his robot companions, affirms herself as his friend.
Rebecca may be Lucy's double however don't feel like you need to make a Lucy impression. So long as it isn't a silly voice do what ever voice you see fit.
[Slightly creeped out] What is wrong with him?! But wait... I thought there weren't supposed to be any humans here!
[Yelling/verge of tears] You can be friends with anyone! It doesn't matter if your human or machine!!
[slightly angry] No, your coming with me! We're friends aren't we?!
You have a lot of echo and sound far from the mic, I recommend looking into a better recording space
I am about to get a new mic; this one is having issues with the echo control. Should I bother retrying with less echo, or was my voice not what you were looking for?
For echo the mic won’t fix it for you, I recommend looking up videos on sound absorption and stuff, the “how to be a voice actor” series on YouTube by SBN3 is something I recommend watching to understand how to fix it
Thanks, but it isn't my location that is the issue; my microphone's more/less echo knob stopped working, and it is stuck sounding like that. I have recorded in several places, even in my closet, and it just doesn't help this goofy mic. In addition to the new mic, we are also about to add noise reduction and soundproofing foam to my closet and make it a recording studio, so echo really won't be an issue anymore. The important question is whether my voice is right for the character or not. Should I bother retrying?
I think your voice is good and could potentially pull the character off well, that choice is really up to Kelan, the project director. That said, I was mainly just trying to help for when you audition for projects in general :) best of luck!
Ah, ok, thanks for the advice! We are working on sound quality, and I will look into the youtube series you mentioned. Thanks!
