Monologue - Advertising Lullaby (attached): Please focus on your projections while reading this script. Imagine that you are speaking to a gymnasium full of people and you don't have a mic. Remember to take nice deep breath to ensure you have enough air to get you through the paragraphs. Feel free to edit and play around with noise removal but please try to record everything in 1 take. You can try multiple times but the final recording should be uncut. This will help you with learning how to manage your air better and will apply to all future homework scripts.

Sup! First off, I love your vocal fry! I feel like you are telling me a really sultry and juicy secret and its dripping with drama. It would be nice to hear you use your 'gymnasium voice'. At the end of each sentence you trailed off a bit. When in doubt, be LOUD! - my old music director would say. I did hear quite a few breaths taken in the middle of a sentence. Consider how you speak... do you take a breath in the middle of speaking your thought to a friend? I suggest you consciously listen to yourself and only breathe at the end of a phrase. In this monologue we aren't given that many chances and I think that is the point! :) Well done, Sup. You have a good hold on how you want to present your voice to the audience. There is confidence there and that is AWESOME. You are awesome!
