Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line.
For the first audition line, you are trying to seem okay although the situation you find yourself in could be better. You are also a bit anxious to know what will be happening in the near future. You have been through a lot and are doing your best to maintain a positive outlook on things.
For the second audition line, you have been re-energized mentally upon hearing the good news. You are ready to go back out into the field and make the NCR proud. You are ready to finally give the enemy a taste of their own medicine. You are excited, relieved, and happy.
For the third audition line, you are frustrated with your age holding you back from something that you should be able to do. You just want one chance to show everyone what you're worth. You are pleading with your superior to give you a chance. You are completely confident in your abilities to prove everyone wrong and carry out the task effectively
I’m surviving. But how much longer are we gonna be waiting here?
I’ll be ready when they arrive. I’ll finally get the chance to take out one of these Brotherhood bastards.
I’m old enough. I can handle this.
Solid work! You really gave off the feeling of an eager young soldier wanting to get in the fight. Great audition!
I've listened to a couple of your auditions whilst scouring CCC, and whilst you have excellent range and potential, all that goes out the window until you get yourself a pop filter! your splosives will set you back :
That's the thing, I have one, and have had one, but for some reason it doesn't make it stop doing it. I'm not really sure what to do.
Based on online reactions (https://www.sweetwater.com/forums/showthread.php?19827), the Rode NT1 is not the best choice for breathy/baritone vocals. Try to save up for a dynamic microphone (SM57/58 + Cloudlifter CL-1) to get the most out of your voice. And lastly, what pop filter are you using per chance?
I actually figured it out last night, I didn't know you aren't supposed to have the filter very close to the mic. I moved it to about a phones length away and it fixed almost all of the Plosive problem, thanks for bringing it up though! It's just a normal round pop filter with RODE on it.
Fantastic, good hunting.
