KimChie for Abayomi Tinibu
Abayomi is a 24 year old Woman born on June 19th, 1994. She is the daughter of Abeo and Opal Tinibu, and is a mixture of Nigerian and European. Although she was born in Nigeria she was raised in Detroit, MI. After being forced to marry George, the son of a close family friend, Abayomi runs away to New York leaving her old life behind. The story picks up on her arrival there.
Following zodiac signs, Abayomi is a Gemini. She is very hardworking, talkative, happy-go-lucky, and dramatic. She can be very off the wall at times and hardly acts her age. Her voice should be very exciting (but not overwhelming) to match her energetic personality.
I don't have a particular voice in mind for Abayomi. Feel free to improvise or use your own voice; I'm looking more for emotion than range. As far as accents go I'd like either a North American or Nigerian accent. A more mature sound is preferred as she is a grown woman, but I'm also open to anything you think fit. As long as she sounds rather feminine and as i said a bit exciting.
Now onto singing. The description does talk about how Abayomi runs away to take on musical theater. This is true, meaning she does sing from time to time. Not as often as every episode, but frequently enough that I'd like the actor to have some singing skill. This won't be a deciding factor though. If you lack musical skill don't be afraid to audition; if it comes down to it we can hold a separate casting call for a vocalist.

Ok, calm down Yomi. This is a big day for you. If you don't get this role, you're trash. Absolute trash. This is the easiest audition in Broadway history; just walk in and sing your ass off. Hell yeah! Let's get this! *Pause* What the fudge am i saying? I'm gonna fail! All these talented and pretty girls; why would they choose me?...No! Get your head in the game Yomi. This is your dream. You ran away from home for this. Do your best!

So what am i supposed to do, huh? I sat around all day back in Detroit. Ain't have a care in the world. I ate Doritos's all day, ding dong ditched people when i was bored, even smoked a few times for fucks sake! But here i am in the *pause* Where am i? Oh yeah, the 'Big Apple'. Here i am in the 'Big Apple', and can't even get a damn gig on stupid Broadway! What kind of joke is that? Maybe getting married to George wouldn't be so bad if i didn't have to suffer everyday like this. I can't eat ramen everyday anymore! I barely have a waistline now! No wonder i'm not getting gigs! George may be a fucktard, but if forced love means a nice, big, juicy steak, i'm willing *Hiccups* It's been awhile since iv'e had alcohol. I feel sick...Can i get another shot? *Laughs* Just kidding, i rather have the whole bottle.
