Silas, the great grandfather of Emily and Navin Hayes, the previous owner of the amulet. He is a man of great power and wisdom but his body fails him. He is dying and he needs a successor. He gives the amulet to Emily on his deathbed.


i would like a realistic older man voice that sounds weak but is still understandable, meaning that even though he might have a horse or groggy voice, he shouldn't sound like a death rattle. He may only be in one scene, but he talks a lot.

His scene is in the video from 2:50 mark to 7:30, talking throughout. Please watch it to get a better understanding of where the character is and how he should sound.

  • (Weak from age, dying on his death bed)  You must be the one.... I can see it in your eyes.... You must be miss Emily Hayes.

  • (Weak from age, dying) Let me tell you a little about your inheritance. This amulet, if you if you can master it, you will not only save your mother's life, but your will gain a great and glorious power beyond anything you ever imagined.

  • (After Miskit, a robot that Silas built, confesses he doesn't think  he is ready to lead on without Silas) You were born ready! This is what I built you for.... (calming down) So calm yourself. The moment I saw their faces, I knew everything was going to be alright.
