The Grandfather of the Takanashi sisters. Being very old fashioned and stubborn, he does not agree with nor support Rikka's lifestyle choice. He's cold, harsh and strict.
A husky, deep voice would be perfect for this character! He does not appear in many episodes but a role is still a role so give it your all! Whether you try to make him sound like his English Dub or his Japanese version, both accents are acceptable.
(Annoyed) I thought she would have grown out of that by now.
(Strict) *grunts* It's so immature. She needs to grow up.
Hey-o! Uh, I wasn't able to see where he was in the show... and wasn't about to watch all 13 episodes! So I did what I thought would be a "husky, deep voice" fit for a elder Japanese man.
Brilliant audition! I can really see your voice working for him. Not that you'll need to know now, but I think he appears in episode 7? He has only a couple of lines but also makes more brief appearances in the following episodes. It was also a pleasant surprise to hear you saying my name during your introduction too, very observant of you :)

Haha, okay then! Don't worry, doing the audition again won't be necessary. I really liked your audition for him and in my eyes, it's going to be a difficult one for others to beat! I'm going to leave auditions open for him though until the deadline, just to give others a chance. Thanks for auditioning and if you're ever free then I'd highly recommend watching the Chuunibyou series, it's a really interesting watch!

Ah right, I know I'm a little late replying to this so you've probably watched a few episodes by now. I hope you've enjoyed the anime so far! I'd be crazy not to cast you for a role in my series, whether that be Grandfather Takanashi or as one of the "Male Extras". Your enthusiasm for voice-acting is clearly evident from this audition alone, you've got a lot of talent. (I've only just realized we're going to be in the "Free!
