Asukasei is a very formal, snobby intellectual with a distaste for pop culture. He also appears externally to dislike the other members of the student council, however, it is shown through his actions that he truly does care about them, or at least some of them. He patronizes Murasame frequently, and like Karen, often finds himself disappointed by the rest of the class' lack of crime-solving ability.
