The youngest prince of Hoshido, Takumi often feels overshadowed by the love and success of his older brother, Ryoma. Loyal and patriotic as can be, he is an excellent archer, although can be incredibly cold and rude to those who he feels threaten his siblings, especially Corrin. Extremely brash and headstrong, Takumi's inferiority complex leads him into a lot of trouble when he doesn't think things through, something he must soon overcome in order to be a respected royal and military commander.
