Emerald City: The Rise of Eros - Episode 2 (Voice Actors)
Gina Nicolle for Cassy (Extra - 7 lines)
Clingy shy girlfriend
CASSY, 22 female, a bright eyed girl sits beside TOM.
CASSY
(anxiousness, curious)
Hey, so, you're an adventurer now, right?
TOM
(neutral)
Yeah, I just got my badge, why?
CASSY
(hesitant, pausing frequently)
I think it’s nice… I assume you’ll be spending a lot of time out there, huh?
TOM
(suspicious)
Is there something you want to tell me?
CASSY
(slightly assertive)
No. Is there something you want to tell me?
TOM
(playful, teasing, slight chuckle)
I guess i’ve been thinking about you?
CASSY
(infatuated, “keep going” tone)
Eh-hm.
TOM
(playful, joking)
That I love you…
CASSY
(infatuated, waiting for more)
And?
TOM
(playful, joking, smiling)
That I miss you, and I want to be with you but I have to go.
Cassy sits back in her seat, content with what she’s heard.
CASSY
(sincere, sigh)
I’m going to miss you a lot…
She places her elbows and scrunch onto the table, she places her face into her hands and looks off to the side.
CASSY (CONT’D)
(heartfelt, shy, reserve)
Just remember that I’ll always love you.
TOM
(soft laugh, smiling, teasing)
Thanks, Corny ass.
CASSY
(playfully, offended)

The voice is very pretty, but the emotion feels consistent throughout. I would have liked to see a variety of emotions expressed for each sentence to add more depth and variation.
In the first line, let the anxious and curious feelings build up slowly. Once the question is asked, speed up and finish your sentences quickly.
For the second line, keep the sentences soft-spoken, but make the questions louder so they stand out. Use medium mouth movements for clarity.
In the last line, sound relieved, like you’re glad to avoid the hard questions. Adding a deep breath as you speak (like talking while exhaling) can make it feel more natural.
You have potential, just get your knowledge in your emotional library up.
