The moment it all went wrong:

“The Figure,” a famous serial killer, was known across Knox County for his brutal murders of twelve people. Now, he sat in a cell at the Rosewood Police Station, waiting to be moved to prison. The room was quiet, except for the faint buzz of the lights above.

Suddenly, a loud noise came from the hallway, breaking the silence. He stood up slowly, calm and steady, his cold eyes scanning the cell.

Then came a gunshot. He didn’t flinch. Another followed, and then another. The chaos was getting closer, but he stayed still, his mind already looking for a way out.

The hallway door creaked open, and a guard staggered toward him. But something was wrong. The man moved strangely, his eyes empty, his steps unsteady. The Figure tilted his head, watching closely as the guard slammed against the bars, snarling and clawing.

Without a word, he reached into his sock and pulled out a small shiv. In one smooth motion, he stabbed the guard in the head. The body dropped to the floor, lifeless.

Calmly, he knelt down and searched the body. His hand found a key. Standing up, he unlocked the cell door and stepped out into the hallway.

No panic. No hesitation. Just a man walking into the chaos, as if it belonged to him.
