Rocky Polan for Kenny Jones
Kenny is the rough-around-the-edges biker dad who raised Toby, P.J., and T.D. with a free spirit and a soft spot for second chances. A regular at the now-defunct bar where he used to work, Kenny's a guy with a past full of fast bikes, hard choices, and a few regrets he rarely speaks of. The bar wasn't just a place to earn a paycheck—it was a hub of community, a place to find family and friends. After its closure following the brutal murder of the owner by loan sharks, Kenny's life took a hit. That night left a scar, but he's made peace with the darkness, throwing his energy into his boys, bike, and ride-or-die attitude.
As much as Kenny's the wild one between him and his brother, Jonah, he's also fiercely loyal to his family, showing steady strength in his own way. He'd never admit it, but he has a begrudging respect for Ronda, an old coworker and sometimes babysitter for his sons. Her crass attitude rubbed him the wrong way, but he knew she'd have done anything for the boys when they were younger. With Jonah's stricter approach balancing his own, Kenny could let loose and still know his sons would have the discipline he sometimes struggled to impart. It's this brotherly push and pull with Jonah that's given Kenny his unique parenting style, a mix of tough love and knowing when to step back and let life teach its own lessons.
Though Kenny likes to play the role of the carefree rebel, there are moments when his no-nonsense, almost fatherly wisdom catches everyone off guard. When Jonah loosens up, Kenny instinctively tightens the reins, becoming unexpectedly responsible and, at times, even stern. Beneath the rough exterior, he's a dad who wants his boys to grow up right. And while he's never been one for lectures, Kenny's lessons are often unspoken: take risks, stand by your family, and live life without looking over your shoulder.
