Edward Nigma, aka The Riddler, is one of Gotham City's most notorious supercriminals. He is highly intelligent, and he knows it, leading to deep narcissism. He is determined to prove his intellectual superiority over Batman. Nigam has an obsessive compulsion to use riddles as an integral part of his crimes, and they often provide Batman with what he needs to find and capture him.
