Maddy K-M for Soft-Spoken Creepy Girl
Mary’s voice is quite thin. She is soft-spoken, with a medium / high pitch. She could have an American Midwestern accent or an English accent. Both make sense as she was born in Iowa, grew up watching British cartoons, and hasn’t had any contact with another human for over a decade. I imagine her voice to have a tone and demeanor similar to that of “Salad Fingers”, the character from the webseries by David Firth. She should come across as awkward and a tad unnerving, but at the same time gentle and caring.

Ah, goodest morning! Is this Neville Mouse squeaking? Brilliant, I’m wondering if you’d be available for tea in say… Three or four quite long moments?... Ah, wonderful! (Page 7)
Oh, no - mistaken you are, Cataclysm bird! He was a mouse, just like me or thee! (Page 12)
(chuckles, flattered) You know I really do think we ought to have ourselves medically conjoined! (Page 29)
Thank you so much for the opportunity to audition, this character is so awesome - I love the script!
