Taylor Shaye for NURSE AMELIA/HELEN CARTER (Female, 25-65, any ethnicity)
NURSE AMELIA (Female, 25-35, any ethnicity)
Nurse Amelia is a 29-year-old nurse in a 1950s asylum. She is sweet, looks out for others, and is almost always putting out fires.
An accent is not necessary to play this character, but a subtle transatlantic accent or Pennsylvanian accent is an asset. Feel free to give up to 3 takes of the lines, to demonstrate different voices/interpretations/accents.
HELEN CARTER (Female, 35-65, any ethnicity)
Helen is a 1950s reporter with a slight transatlantic accent. Feel free to give up to 3 takes of the lines, to demonstrate different voices/interpretations/accents.
As these are smaller, background roles, there will be one actor to play both of these characters. Please give each character a distinct, unique voice in your submission.
Please remember to start your audition with a slate! Details in the project overview.
