This is a two part role, Kenya as a child and grown up, we want the same actor to play both parts, Kenya's voice will get a bit deeper and more mature as he ages. We ask the first two audition lines be read as child Kenya and the last one as adult.

Child Kenya is Satoru's closest childhood friends, he has a fairly monotone voice of pure ambivalence, he's the voice of reason in the group and always comes across as somewhat uninterested in what the others are doing.

Adult Kenya grows up to be a well published author and is still a good friend and voice of reason to Satoru. He voice deepens a bit from his childhood self, but still gives a similar monotone cadance.
