Male VA - Role in an Romantic Audio Roleplay/Story Series (SFW++) (n°5)
Ycey Narrates / Bryce Ellis for TRAY
Male character in his mid-twenties, funny, charming.
The story is set in the US.
The first scene occurs when Tray is a teenager. Therefore, a youthful voice of around 15/16 years old is needed. He meets a girl for the first time in a park while he is playing on a console, and she approaches him to talk.
In the second scene, after years of searching, you lose her in a crowd. Disheartened, you decide to go home and leave a voice note for your friend who is still waiting for you at the concert.
In the third scene, after discussing the fact that neither of you has kissed anyone in a long time, you decide to test each other's kissing skills. You have dreamed of this moment for years. Be flirtatious, charming, and use a lower tone.
TRAY : Um, sorry... what? -- Listener : I asked what you're playing. -- TRAY : It's just a video game. Do you always talk to people you don't know? -- Listener : Not always. So, which one is it? -- TRAY : Well, I don't think you should talk to strangers. (She takes the Nintendo ) TRAY : Hey! Give me back my console. -- Listener : Come and get it if you want it. -- TRAY : Seriously, give it back, it's not funny anymore. -- Listener : Okay, but you're teaching me how to play. -- TRAY : Fine, I'll teach you, but first you have to give it back. Come on. -- Listener : Okay, here. -- TRAY : Don't ever do that again!
Hey Simon, sorry... um... but I'm heading home. (taking a deep breath) I've lost her again dude, I just don't get it. I think I'm going to lose it. (exhaling) She was at the concert, can you believe it? She was there and we were supposed to join you but it was so crowded and we got separated in the crowd and now I don't know if it's worth waiting outside. I don't know, maybe I'll see her come out after the concert. But there are so many exits, it would take a miracle for her to come out of this one. It's over, man. I think this time I'll never see her again. (sighing) We were this close from kissing, dude. Seriously, why didn't I? I'm such an idiot. And I could see in her eyes that she was dying for it as much as I was. That's the only thing I can hold on to tonight, knowing that maybe she feels the same way I do. Ah, and of course, I didn't think to ask for her number again, I was too caught up in the moment, her scent, her laugh, the way she looked at me, her lips... shit, her lips... fuck! (as if hitting your forehead on the steering wheel) Aarh! Honestly, man, tell me if I'm being pathetic because I’ve only met this girl three times in my life, but I’m a wreck every time I see her, I don't get it. It's like I can't control my emotions and I want to spend all my time with her. Anyway, here's to you guys. Catch you tomorrow I guess. Bye.
TRAY : Okay, so let me get this straight. I help you figure out if you've lost your touch, and you help me in return? -- LISTENER : I think that sums it up. -- TRAY: So we’re just two altruistic people helping each other out, right? -- Listener : That's right. -- TRAY : And we’re talking about a real kiss, aren't we? Not just a peck? -- Listener : The full experience. -- TRAY : Good. If we’re evaluating, might as well do it properly. (kissing sounds for a few seconds)
Hello! Thank you so much for your audition. You really have great acting skills with a very accurate interpretation. Unfortunately, for this role, I’m looking for a slightly different voice. That being said, you’re exactly the right fit for an upcoming role. I’ll reach out to you later with more details, and you can let me know if you’re interested. You also have the ideal profile for another role, but it’s a shame because this one requires proficiency in Italian. In the meantime, could you share more information about your equipment and the soundproofing of your studio? Thank you, and have a great day!
I'd be very interested in this other upcoming role you had in mind. Yes, feel free to reach out to me.Regarding the other role, while I do not speak Italian, I am fluent in Spanish and have found myself able to pronounce and understand Italian without too much difficulty. My only crux would be if you need a specific accent in Italian. I'd be happy to voice a few lines in Italian to get your opinion.Thank you and you have yourself a great day too.
Great, thanks for your feedback. I’ll get back to you later with more details about the other role. Just so you know, I’ll need your ability to play a monster since it will be a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. As for the role in Italian, yes, I would need a Sicilian accent, but thanks anyway. Could you share more information about your equipment and the soundproofing of your studio?
