CAH (Congenital adrenal hyperplasia) is a group of genetic disorders that affects your adrenal glands, which produce hormones your body needs to function properly.  These are all folks who are learning about CAH and have skin in the game -- either they or someone they take care of -- but they aren't suffering or dramatic, maybe a little frustrated or baffled but determined to figure it out and do what needs to be done. This character has no discernible accent of place. This is a guy who knows only a little about CAH and is trying to learn, trying to figure it out. Down to earth, could be a bro type or could be nerdy, but earnest, an empathetic character, determined to learn.
