Paid: Flat Rate 20 USD
Role assigned to: Thatticus

Damian Reyes is an young scientist in his early-twenties at a psychoanalysis research company. While he can seem a bit guarded at times, he has a soft spot for the new intern at the company. It's clear that he's been through a lot, although he doesn't show it, diverting back to work whenever the conversation gets too sentimental. Reyes is intelligent, far beyond many people his age, and can be short-tempered and snappy at times, though he means well.

For this role, I'm looking for someone who can bring this character to life! Please record in AABBCC format and try to eliminate background noise. You must be able to export voice lines as a .wav file (this excludes audition files, I know CCC can be finnicky with .wav files). Also, if casted, lines must be recorded via a live directing session. I intend for there to be three acts, and the flat rate for each act is $20, however, if this project gains a lot of traction and ends up profiting, I hope to be able to pay you wonderful people more. Improvisations are always welcome!

Please feel free to message me if you have any questions at all :)

*Audition lines are not representative of the final script

  • “Don’t pay any mind to it. It’s more for you than anyone else, talking about it out loud helps with memory retention.”

  • (slightly agitated) “Yes. Or at least she did before she went crazy and gouged her eyes out. Last I heard she was in some psych ward upstate.”

  • “Let me answer your question with another question. When you’re dreaming, are you really hearing things or is your brain making you think you’re hearing things?" *pause* "Your conscious mind processes things at a different rate than your unconscious mind.”
