Secondary role for the first season who leaves in the Season 3 Christmas special
Demetrius is the ruler of Purgatory. He believes if he rules over the lands he can put an end to the deadly sandstorms. He is trying to liberate his people from being trapped within the Asylum, not allowed into the outside world as sunlight could kill them since they have been in the darkness for so long.
He comes across as evil and would kill for pleasure, he is in fact only doing what he considers best for his citizens. He claims souls so he can grow his army to march against Serenetia.
He does not have a demonic voice however it is fairly deep. The way he should be portrayed is in a way that will make people wonder who is the actual enemy. The council of five or the Liberator. He must come across as evil and doing this only for the pain and suffering it can cause. He does have his softer moments though.

Even if it takes her every minute of her remaining time filling the boy with the false hope the time will not change. noooo I just saw/heard me run the words "will allow" together that bothers me oh well I tried my best I have been listening to it a lot just finally heard my mistake there.

Line 1 - 'That is what you do' did not sound right, not natural with the flow of the words spoken. He is speaking to Tobias, his voice does not need to turn into anger or frustration. The end was perfect 'you know the outcome...'
Line 2 - it was going well until you raised your voice. You can keep it softly when speaking to Tobias and Raven unless stated by me either in the script or feedback. The anger is not needed at all. From 'anything that could go wrong...' this takes a more sinister tone. you got it fine from 'You must learn and recruit...'
line 3 - More of an evil, sinister tone. you do not need to raise your voice.
That is all fair I didn't know if all 3 lines were to tobias or not without context of the scenes that is just how I interpreted it I know today is the day you choose certain one's I definitely can redo it without the screaming but don't want to waste your time with another audition lol. I will say in line 2 how I interpreted it was more he was angry about his past and what he has gone through and was just yelling not necessarily at anyone but I do see your point.
No problem. I have said to many people auditioning that they do not understand the story as I do and these are just random lines on a page. This is why I always offer feedback.
Unless Tobias or Raven angers him, he may have frustration at best when talking to them. He may have anger about another situation in their presence though. His truly evil side does not really come into play until roughly season 2, possibly the later half of season 1.
Well if I have time I will gladly do it better. I guess I shall wait until the first round ends.
Demetrius is not being cast today. I am awaiting responses for Isaac and Frederick and Abraham. The other 2 are female. That is the last of what is being cast today.
Good cause I already started working on Demetrius and I think you'll like line 2 a lot more compared to my last attempt haha. Right now I am trying to make sure the words are clear and tone is right and trying to really feel the character.
