Lord Zedd, the self-proclaimed Emperor of Evil, is the main antagonist of the Power Rangers franchise.
He is a tyrannical alien warlord, the true master of the Evil Space Aliens and the husband of Rita Repulsa. Zedd is the archenemy of Zordon, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and the Cosmic Fury Rangers.
It was mentioned by Rita that Zedd tried to take the Zeo Crystal for himself in the ancient past. However, because the Crystal was protected by a forcefield which damages the forces of evil, the attempt caused his skin to burn off, which gave him his flayed appearance.
Due to some unspecified failure, Lord Zedd stripped Goldar of his wings. Because he did not think Earthwas important enough to warrant his attention, being to him just being a stepping stone to conquer the solar system, he left Rita Repulsa to conquer it while he pursued the conquest of other systems, leaving a group of minions behind to help her. His Voice has a dark tone as well
