CALO Part 4 (3D animated short)
MidnaTP for The Allmother
The Allmother, real name Anastasia Mortis, is the (self appointed) god of the world.
She is as loving as she is ruthless, having gone to great lengths for her children. She has slaughtered all other gods of the land to amass power for herself, and now lives atop a throne of lies in her own reality. Her sickly disposition leaves her anemic and unwell, so she creates more and more children to clean up her unfinished business.
The Allmother can best be described as a "nice to me" character, she is cruel and unforgiving to everyone but her own children. (the story taking place from her son's perspective.) But that doesn't stop her bad habits and maladaptive coping mechanisms from breaking through. She walks the knife's edge of being kind and caring but also strict and unloving, any hint of untruth or disrespect and she'll be quick to flip to her bad side. She tries to keep a level head but regularly lets her emotions get the better of her.
She tends to speak in long allegories to justify her positions/rules for things, at times it can be unclear where she may be going with some of her longer winded stories, but she doesn't necessarily care. Her point will be made clear one way or another.
Allmother's voice is that of a adult woman, anywhere between the 30s-50s range. Here's some examples of the general idea I have in mind for her, but feel free to try your own thing!
