I didn’t have any evidence. I didn’t want to sound like I was lying. All I could do was show some respect; if I didn’t have what I needed, then what was the point of trying to defend myself?
I wish I could stop them, but there’s nothing I could do in MY place. If that fraud who hired me was revealed much sooner, I wouldn’t even be here. But then again, it’s partially my fault for following suit.
Not that I don’t trust you, but don’t you think you could’ve solved that case yourself? You are an inspector after all.
